New glasses
Collected my new glasses this afternoon at Bukit Bintang area. The company is called a-look and the official website is at www.a-look.com.hk . THey got flat rate of rm 138 for plastic frame and multi coated lens as well as rm 168 for metal frame and multi coated lens. However for my case, it;s rm 348 coz i opted for the thin and durable lens. The additional costs goes to the lens itself rather than the frame~ Hmm bit regretted now coz made the decision on the frame in a rush and only this afternoon i realized there;s lots more nice frames! ANyway, been itching to take photoz lately but the best i could do now is taking photo with low resolution webcam. Enjoy the self potrait then~

Me in my new glasses~ It gives me a cleaner look compared to the old plastic frame from Romeo Gigli!
P105 Orientation Banner
PAndora’s Box: Evil Unleashed!

Photo taken during orientation for B104 with a Junior. Accidentally found this pict and thought it would be nice to made one post on it
Anyway, orientation for batch p105 gona start in late feb with the title “Pandora’s Box: Evil Unleashed”. Hopefully the juniors can feel the love that we put into their orientation programme and yeah, we love them like hell in a very humane way!
Belows are rules and regulation as quoted by the student affairs:
Attn. : Members of the P1/04
Orientation Committee
Subject: Orientation Programme
Dear students,
Thank you for agreeing to serve as a member of the orientation committee for the new students coming into our University on 14 February 2005 to start their lives as Pharmacy students. I am confident that you will all do your best to welcome them as new members of our IMU family.
As members of the Orientation Committee, you have responsibilities to our University and to the new students in all that happens during the Orientation period. I wish to take this opportunity to draw your attention that as a University, we have to abide by the Private Higher Education Institutions Act 1996. Under the Act, there are regulations governing the code of conduct for university students. Within the code of conduct, a student is subject to disciplinary action if he or she is found to be responsible for any untoward incidence.
I would like you to bear in mind the following rules:-
• Respect the dignity and self-respect of all concerned.
• Avoid any physical violation. Activities must not be violent or aggressive to a fellow student.
• Avoid throwing, at fellow students, any substance that is smelly, hard or unhygienic.
• Avoid any activity that may be dangerous or risky or may lead to accidents, especially on public roads.
• The schedule of the orientation programme must be given to the new students at least 1 day earlier in order for them to arrange their transport, if necessary.
• Avoid activities or games that may embarrass any female or male students. Take into account the religious sensitivities inherent in our Malaysian culture.
Remember that the main objective of the Orientation programme is to build comradeship among juniors, as new students, and with the senior students. Activities should be directed to “break the ice”, be fun and enjoyable for all who participate. New students should not be made fearful of or be forced to take part in any orientation activity. Instead, activities should be clean, fun and exciting so that all new students will want to participate gladly, thereby making the orientation programme a success as well as achieving its objectives.
Your Student Affairs office is always ready to assist you in making the orientation programme a success. Have fun. I am confident that you will continue to uphold the good name of IMU.
Thank you for serving your fellow students.
Yours sincerely,
Prof. Ong Kok Hai
Dean of Student Affairs

Me and a gal dressing up as Yuna of Final Fantasy.

IT;s picnicking time~ Everyone was enjoying their time eating and chatting with their frenz in grp. A very relaxed atmosphere…

My batchmates: Chun KEat, Pow wee, Shawn, Sharon and Desmond.

The venue was dominated by digital camera with lotsa people snapshooting here and there~

The center stage where taiko was played and people dancing around them…

The blue and red yukata looked superbly nice~

The performers were dancing on the stage in the form of a circle guiding the people beneath the stage on the steps of the dancing…

Everyone was enjoying themselves with the dance~

Some performance by the local japanese highschool members if i;m not mistaken…

Everyone was having a break before the next wave of dancing took place~

Laughing and eating shaved ice at the same time.
