Slept till around 4pm this afternoon and have done nothing much except dota with the pc. Will need to post all the photoz i have before the new semester starts Been blog-jumping and seen lotsa interesting blogs like food blogs, sex blogs, travel blogs and so on~

A gate at the ‘chinatown’ area. Further down the road got quite a number of pork stalls. My impression bout Trengganu initially is that there won;t be any pig head in sight but i;m wrong! Haha, enjoyed the “小包” (small buns like the butter bun clustering together in a grp of 15 or more) of K.Trengganu alot.

Lately been doing nothing at home except dota. After waking up, i;ll go thro one session abt an hr or so, i;ll get blur again before having lunch. Then i’ll go thro another trial and yet another just to learn how to use the hero Razor! Haha, by far it;s my favourite hero thou its kinda weak in some aspect :p As a newbie i do read abit from the forum on how to play as well~ Am i a dota addict? I think sO thou i;m still a newbie or noob to this game~ My eyes and head are getting blur after each session and i kinda like the blurry sensation in my head! Introduction…
Razor is my most favourite hero. Although he is quite difficult to use, he is very rewarding should you persist in him. He is more of a pusher/farmer then a hero killer, and he is very item dependable, but due to that he can be a killer in the late game. Also, he has 2 good passive spells, and i like passive spells to active, because you does not require mana to use them. Generally, his spells are balanced. With low health, however, you may not want to be reckless.
(This is my first guide for Dota heroes, so do not expect it to be perfect. But I will try to make it as good and as accurate as possible.)

Strategy / Others
1. Stay at the lane furthest away from your base (aka top lane if Scourge and bottom lane if Sentinal). This is because it is easier for you to save your own skin. It is easier for you to fight as they reach to your tower first, plus you will take some time to push across the river (source of all backstabs). Furthermore, if you want ot escape and he comes from the front, just retreat. If he comes from your back, run to the river, then go up the cliff and back to your base. Very simple to stay alive.
2. Practice your farming. Farming is essential to my items build as you will be aiming for Radiance right from the start. If you do not get last hits on creeps often or get killed often, you will get your Radiance late in the game. Also, in order to farm well, try to go take a single lane by yourself (usually no problem, as the top/bottom lane is not that popular of Scourge/Sentinal players). Ask your allies nicely. Explain to them you will need to farm for a Radiance. Also if possible, try to deny them experience by getting last hits on your creeps too (through button “a”). Out leveling your opponent gives you the psychological edge.
3. Remember that you have only 550 range. This gives you a disadvantage considering that most ranged heroes have 600 ranged at the start. However, also remember that the best defense is through offense. If you can, caress them with by going up and give 1 to 2 attacks, then target them with your chain lightning. If they goes back to fountain, good for you. Use that time to quickly gain level. If you get the kill, even better. More gold and experience for you.
4. When chasing a hero with a pixel wide bit of health left, use your chain lightning to gain the kill. If they are too far for your reach, chase and wait till the next creep wave comes in and your opponent are within or just a little behind the creeps, use your chain lightning on the creeps and hopefully the lightning will jump onto your opponent. Always try to aim the chain lightning at the hero first, as each jump gives less damage.
5. Once you aquire Boots of Travel, Radiance and Eyes of Skadi, ask your allies if they need any items. You earn money in a flash. So spend it well. Assist your allies in getting their crucial items so that you can win the game earlier. Dota is not only about individual skills, but also about teamwork. Your hero is already quite stable if you get these 3 items.
6. Eyes of Skadi stacks with Mask Of Madness. Your high damage, insane walking/attacking speed, slowing attacks, life leech and almost Perma-frenzy should be able to help you kill or escape. You will be a player well feared by your opponents. However, you are still not strong enough to withstand gangs. So look at the minimap frequently to monitor your opponent’s movement.
7. Aim for barracks. Your opponent will not be able to withstand the wrath of mega creeps. Get the barracks, and it is gg for them.
8. Abuse the teleportation powers you get with your Boots of Travel (aka Nike shoes). Use it to get back to the battlefield from your fountain, stop a bunch of creeps or to defend your base.
9. Very important. The Ultimate for Razor is bugged. It is minor, however, and there are ways to get past it. Very simply put, his Ultimate will not auto update. For example, you had reached level 11 or 16 and you pumped a point into Storm Seeker. However, his damage by Storm Seeker continues to remain the same. To ‘update’ it, either get yourself killed (not wise), or get yourself hexed. Getting yourself hexed is easy. Just aim at an ally creep/building which has more than 50% health. You will get hexed automatically, and when you go back to normal, your Ultimate will be updated. This is shown by the animation of lightning falling on Razor’s head, as you will see when you first pump a point into his Storm Seeker. Do it when the condition is save, however. Just another note, to attack your own creeps/buildings, use that “a” button and click on them. However, you can only do so if the creep has less than 50%of his life, or when the building has less then 90% of his life. Killing them yourself will deny them of the exp and gold they so ‘rightfully’ deserves. =)

My nice dream at around 8am this morning was interrupted by a sharp pain in the abdomen and an urge to relieve myself off the loads. Visited the toilet few times in a row and darn it;s all disgusting watery stuffz! Went back to sleep and not until noon time where i got this prob again~ Had few charsew bun as lunch + honey drinks to replenish my lost body fluid~ Not that bad at least i feel healthier now with my intestinal passages cleared and i lost bit of weight i supposed (not much thou)! It;s not a serious one and hence i din take any medication nor visit any doc~ I believe in natural healing (now this is contradicting to wat i study):P

Alrite, got a steamboat for dinner to fill up my stomach and it;s kinda fun playing with the foods! EAten quite abit and felt like dying coz the stomach almost erupted. Actually, this steamboat was planned for tomoroe coz gona have an outing to Bukit Bintang with my mum and sis. Who knoes there;s this thing called rain that spoilt the plan and hence the steamboat as dinner. Anyway here;s some photo for u all~

Initial soup base was made with miso paste added with lotsa mushrooms (enoki mushroom and some oyster mushroom), fish balls, vege balls, crabs, prawn and pork + bit of lettuce.

My first serving: Crab, prawn, fish and vege balls, oyster and enoki mushroom + a strip of fish cake noodle…

Wrapped the pork with lettuce and dip with organic oyster sauce be4 eating~ YUmmy!

Second serving : More vege balls, pork and oyster mushroom + lettuce for wrapping the pork.

Third serving: Something like second serving but added with noodle, crab and enoki mushroom.

Fourth serving: More prawns and bit of pork + vege balls.

Final serving: Prawns + crabs + 2 pork bits and lettuce.

After eating all this and gulping down one whole glass of yuza tea, i;m officially dead yet satisfied! Taking back all the losses in the morning and afternoon

This holiday is for sure a short one, thou it;s a full one month. Have lotsa fun and been to places that i have not gone before like ZOo negara, Redang, and Lake Garden. Infact, holiday felt like it has just started yesterday without realizing that it gona end in just a week time. Thou i mentioned i wana improve my Dota and been playing at least once daily, i’m still so noob Gona find the rest of the guyz out for a game session soon and practise make perfect! As there;s good thing bout holiday, there’s also bad thing bout holiday too such as gaining more fats (dormant), getting more lazy, spending more money than ever (broke to hell d), and feeling bored!

Heard that the dress code has been implemented quite strictly by IMu recently and bet it;s for sure something good for the guyz. Coz more OL-like gal to see, but i doubt the ladies gona wear office wears! Hmm, how nice if i;m those salaryman in those corporate~ Haha, do i sound like a pervert? Guyz alwayz have to wear tie and wear formal attire no matter wat but galz on the other hand can alwayz wear jeans, mini skirt, and t-shirt as they like. Anyway, am looking forward to a new sem and getting to knoe the guyz better!

Once again woke up late for the Lake Garden trip. Everyone was there at the penthouse at 9am as promised. I was 15 minz late. Initially we had bout 11 people going but Joe, Junie and her sis suddenly cannot come due to some reasons. Anson was struck with fever and flu and hence din join us which made this trip incomplete for the Zhibi members. Jou ann and Hua ying provided the much needed transport with Zhiyong as guide (coz Lake Garden is just nearby his home).

Reached the park at around 10am and they all were busy preparing for the picnic session at a shaded spot.

Foods of the day: Fried rice by Pei sung; Fried noodle and fruit jelly by Jou ann; Egg sandwiches and longan jelly by Yee Wen; hotdog with cucumber stick by Samantha; nuggets and jelly (sucky red wine + lovely ginseng wine) by me; drinks by hua ying; and watermelon by Zhiyong. Everything was nice except for my nuggets which were pretty soggy.

And we were staring blurly at Samantha as well :p Yaiks, she;s worse than Pei Sung d :p
