WOke up this morning to find a new line of itchy bumps near my elbow area. Looks like the scabies have spread to the upper limb by now. Scabies in the lower limbs have been well controlled without new bumps appearing except for the itch once in a while. I am getting paranoid now of this stupid mites. Wonder where i contracted them from~ Be it the clothings that someone with scabies tried before me or from the cinema or bus cushion. Sigh, i am now on a new topical medication for scabies which has lindane and benzyl benzoate together. Applying like twice a day thou it;s stated to be used in the evening. I;m getting paranoid and applying like crazy (hopefully i won;t get the neurotoxicity due to the overuse of lindane which is now used as the second line treatment for scabies in US). Walked to the pharmacy today to ask for permethrin but the pharmacist said they only got benzyl benzoate. Sigh~ I am really getting crazy now!

Forget bout it, let’s move on to the lunch i had this afternoon with my mum and sis:

It has got the same name as a HK series. A nice place for dining with cozy environment, plasma tv, nice cushion seats (possible hide-out for mites, fleas and so on) and wifi.

Mum ordered the mint bubble milk tea.

For me, i got the milk tea which came together with my chicken chop as a set. There’s a choice between coffee, milk tea, softdrinks and ying yong.

Sis’s Mapo Tofu. Looks bit different from the normal mapo tofu. Sis lamented it’s not spicy enough.

My chicken chop with spring-onion sauce . The fried chicken was nice but the sauce kinda disappointing (just my personal view). This is one of the hot stuffz as stated on the menu. If u guyz order this next time, try the other sauces…

Watched The Da Vinci Code with my mum in the evening and it;s quite entertaining. She din fall asleep while watching which seemed to be a good sign. At least i knoe that she;s not bored. Haha~ Guess the movie gona provoked some christians but all in all. IS there god anyway? For me i am not a god fearing person. I believe there’s no such thing as god but i do respect other’s belief…

Had Russian Food at the Food Court Of Times Sq last week with the Zhibi Gang. The dish above is named YOSHIKI (which sounds japanese) which comprised of 3 rice-meatballs (chicken or beef) with mushroom sauce. The texture is like steamed minced meats pressed together with rice to form a ball :p SOmething new for me ~

Had gathering with the secondary classmates after the convo last saturday and it;s fun to be with them :p Ron and Seng Ann were the entertainers of the nite with Kim Yew being the target of sarcasm~ Not gona post our dinner photo here and i;m trying to make the post short.

Went to consult a doctor the other days regarding the lesions and terrible sore throat. When i came into his room, first thing he mentioned was “oh, IMu student”. I;m like “Wtf? how did he knoe that?”. Must been the form i filled las time when i first visited the clinic~ Only after some chatting he realized i;m pharmacy student rather than medicine student He’s kinda shocked when i told him imu has nursing and pharmacy courses Anyway, i’m afebrile and got normal bp (120/80 mmHg)

One look at both my lower limbs, he concluded it’s scabies (considered a form of STds caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var hominis) and prescribed the Benzyl Benzoate which is an older form of treatment for scabies Permethrin would be better as it’s more effective as stated in BNF and more suitable for children ~ Immediate family have to be treated as well to prevent the reoccurence of the scabies) . I stenched of Benzyl Benzoate these days as i have to applied them over my body daily as directed and no new lesions should be found after the treatment but unlucky, there;s a new spot near the bakc of my thigh. Sigh, luckily it;s just on the lower limbs and no to the body or penis~

Carinox for the flu which contained nasal decongestant and anti-histamine preparations. When i visited the doc i din have much phlegm but lately, it;s kinda bad and greenish in color. A lil like lanolin but lil more liquid. I;m down with infection, sigh~ Voice still hoarse and coughing non stop. Laryngitis is wat the doc said that cause my voice to turn freaky.

And finally the last medication with a nice 69 like symbol. it;s anti-histamine to be taken at nite to curb the itchiness from the scabies.

* Am still sick thou i looked pretty healthy and can jump here and there ;P Might visit the doc again if the coughing and thick phlegm still persist…
