Filling Post 2

Ireland Day 3 post will be posted somewhere this weekend or latest by next week.
Went for fencing yesterday and realized i am terrible in coordination of my body. And i think it stems from my lack of confidence as well. Never knew the footwork gona be so hard coz watching the clips on youtube was kinda like just moving forward and backward with much ease. Things are easier to be perceived than done! LAter on will be having a lecture and gona be working at nite too
So gona be resting now to fight on for tomoroe. It;s good to be alive and doing thing that i wana do~
Below are two bonus clips which are not added to Ireland Day 2 PArt 2 post:
Sit back, relax and enjoy the waves and scenery~
Ireland Day 2 Part 2

Continuing from Ireland Day 2 Part 1, we had our pre-ordered lunch at a small town nearby the Giant Causeway and Bushmill distillery.

For this sucky sandwich and tomato basil soup, we paid abt 5++pds. The tomato basil soup at Avoca was heavenly compared to this.

The Bushmill distillery which is the oldest licensed whisky in the world. Heard the driver said that in Ireland they distilled the liquor thrice compared to twice in Scotland.

Finally we reached the Giant Causeway area after lunch.

The first thing to greet us was the National Trust gift store :p

Am a little lazy to write down the history of the Giant Causeway + the myth surrounding its presence, so try to click the links below for more information:

This was where we took a bus down to the basalt rocks area. On the way, we were shown the camel.

The road down to see the wishing chair, giant gate, giant chimney, giant organ and the granny.

If not mistaken this is the site of the camel. From this angle, it;s not significant~

The bus that we took with Samantha posing as model.

The wishing chair site. Curious abt those hexagon shape rocks? They are actually basalt columns formed by volcanic activity. Try read here on how they were formed.

Me, JAsmine, Zhiyong and Samantha.

Me sitting on the wishing chair.

The wave was kinda strong and it’s so beautiful when clashing against the columns.

I looked like a horny dog trying to hump the rock!

Basalt Columns. Gift from mother nature.

Trying to steal a piece of the Basalt rock home.

Can spot the giant chimney, giant organ and granny from here. Just try a lil harder if u still can;t spot it~

After the Giant Causeway, we headed back to Belfast. On the way, we had a photostop for Dunluce Castle.

Under the Dunluce Castle, there’s a mermaid cave (something which mew mew might be interested!).
After getting back to Belfast, we rushed back to Dublin via a bus and had a good rest at the Isaacs Hostel in Dublin to continue for Day 3. Cheers~
Toga’s Nite
Yesterday went to Campus East for the Toga’s Nite around 10++pm with Cheeyang and Ah Foo. LAter on we were joined by Ah SOh, ZHiyong and Kelvin. Previously was deciding between the Beach party (bikini babes?) and Emergency 6 hrs (might have nurses or doctors to see)but in the end, it’s cancelled. BAck to the Toga’s Nite, the music selection sux to the max but there’re quite a few gorgeous chicks around. Had abt 2.5 pints of Foster and 1 vodka mix (not nice). Foster tasted suprisingly good and smooth and it;s cheap at 1.5pds per pint :p The climax of the nite might be the sexual position competition. Haha, there’re missionary, doggie style and 69. And helicopter if not mistaken. Left the place around 1am and went to a kebab place. The guyz wanted to have their supper and this is where i met a lady who seems to like my glasses so much so she put it on for a try. Had a pleasant short chat with her and camwhored together. That’s not the end of the night, Ah Soh and Cheeyang pissed at the back alley of Glasgow bar while i pissed at the bushes near the steps to the hostel
Kimochiii~
Ireland Day 2 PArt 1: Carrick-a-Rede

Sorry for the delay in posting of Ireland Day 2 Post
Yesterday got “slightly” drunk at Europa thx to the free rounds of vodka mix and lager courtesy of Joe, Cheeyang and Ah Soh. HAd a truffle shot as well which is the red color shot drinks at the bottom right. It smells really sweet but it;s nasty… Yesterday was the first time i drank till i got the puking feeling after another sip of the drinks and also the first time experiencing headache after getting drunk. Normally i will just feel dizzy and doze off but not having headache. Well it’s a good xperience thou~ WOke up around 11pm to fix myself some fish and chips + irish sausages as dinner. Enough of the boring stories and now we;ll move on to the photos taken in the Antrim area as well as photos from St George Market.

Woke up quite early and made our way to the St George Market for the variety market on Friday which starts from 6am till 2pm.

The St George Market is located within the city center and it’s built between 1890 and 1896.

Lotsa fresh seafoods can be found here which is quite a rare scene in Glasgow.

Apart from seafoods, there are clothings, artworks, second hand stuffz on sale.

Not to mention fruits and meats…

There’re even shamrock lolies~ How cute!

Seen quite some nice pots of flowers but too bad can;t bring them home

Me at the market with Zhiyong and Samantha at the back.

Jasmine with tonnes of cheese~

Most of the stuffz u think of can be found here like bags, cookers and pipes to name a few~

Had our breakfast at the market.

A traditional ulster breakfast.

Samantha’s Soda Bread. The yeast in bread making is substituted with baking soda. The Soda bread dates back to roughly 1840 when soda bicarbonate was introduced to Ireland. It tasted better than normal bread according to my taste bud.

Zhiyong’s kickass Large Ulster fry with xtra irish sausage, baked bean, soda breads, bacons, egg and potato waffle.

My small ulster fry with bacon, irish sausage, egg, soda bread and potato waffle.

Jasmine;s small ulster fry with xtra mushrooms.

Another photo on the soda bread~

After the dinner, we rushed back to the Belfast International Hostel passing by the City Hall to pay for the mini coach’s day tour booked earlier to Giant Causeway and Carrick-a Rede.

We took the tour without visiting the Bushmill Distillery and it costed us 18pds each. Inclusive of the distillery visit will be 23pds each. If possible dun order the lunch onboard, coz it;s kinda like a rip off~ Overall the trip with the day tour was fun

On the way to the Carrick-a Rede, the whole stretch of road was kinda foggy and it’s patches of green all the way.

Not sure where’s this but it’s clear weather ahead~

And we passed by lotsa Glens~ Lost count d:P I only remember Glen Arm coz there’s army there last time if not mistaken.

If the weather is good, u can catch a glimpse of Scotland from here
Lighthouse has been set up on those huge rocks to warn ships of their presence. This place is so cool with calm sea and gorgeous scenery but too bad we din have a stop here~

Not sure where’s this but it’s like a port town or something.

Finally after some travelling, we reached Carrick-a-Rede and we got discount for the entrance ticket with the coach.

Some small islands as seen from Carrick-a-Rede.

HAve you got your ticket to cross the bridge? U can pay xtra 1pds to get a cert stating that u crossed the bridge :p

The whole place is so mesmerizing~ The photo s speak for themselves
Below is a series of photo that i failed to stitch together. Try imagine how they look in wide angle when stitched together…

*The continuos shot ends here*

A pathway leading to the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

Try imagine the size of the cliff with comparison of the small humans at the far right top corner.
*continuos shots start*

*continuos shots end here*

The door to the bridge. Before that, u have to go thro a quite steep steps to get down to the bridge after passing the gate.

The bridge connects the mainland to the Carrick island. It’s initially erected by fishermen over 300 years ago but have been rebuilt in 2000 by helps of local climbers and abseilers which can withstand up to 10 tonnes as sourced from wikipedia.

The bridge spans 20m across and 30m above the rocks.
*continuous shot as seen from Carrick island*

*continuous shots end here*

A shot overlooking the sea and sky from the carrick island.

Camwhoring on the Carrick island.

There’s no rope to secure the border so it;s kinda risky to go to the edge of the island~

Zhiyong setting up tripod for a grp photo~

And here’s the grp photo taken using Zhiyong’s camera.

SAmantha requested for a photo on Carrick Island.

MAking our back to the Carpark for our coach and we were running late.

The never ending trails never help in this case when ur rushing and running out of breath.

But still i find this the best part of the trip. It’s worth my life to come here once again~
*Ireland DAy 2 part 2: Giant Causeway will be up by tomoroe *finger crossed*
Filling Post

A photo taken at the Giant Causeway. This is just an appertizer to wat u guyz would be expecting from Ireland Day 2 post
Been staying at home for the whole day facing my lappy. Din think bout much but kinda frustrated with myself. As in for the past 22 years, i’ve alwayz been that shitty and so. There’s nothing in me that i can be proud of. Look wise, i;m just so so or below average. Personality wise, it’s just so so or shitty. So u can see, overall i;m just so so or shitty~ Hopefully in this 9 months time i can see changes in myself and not gona give a damn bout anyone. Priority will alwayz be myself.
It’s 921 today. The day when Taiwan experienced the great earthquake and it;s also my mum birthday ;P Gave her a call just now and feel kinda sorry that i can;t celebrate with her~ Previously when in KL oso never celebrate much except that we’ll have a dinner and lil cake :0
Guess this will be enough for today. Watch out for the Day 2 post by tomoroe. Cheers~
