Just got back from Kuantan after 2 days of gret fun.

Alrite, today am off from duty yet feel very much like i;m working…why?

Last wednesday mum told me she had got some rashes over her back and they were giving her some itch and numbness.

I tot it’s just some random insect bites and gave her some piriton to ease the itch and the rash.

So until today it;s not resolving and spreading, so yeah brought her to visit a gp.

Straight the dr confirmed it’s shingles and suggested T.Acyclovir 800mg tds x 5/7, Acyclovir cream for LA, T.Piriton 4mg bd/prn, T.Vit B Co 1/1 od (told dr i will give my mum T. Neurobion).

The dispenser (not a pa or nurse) told me T.Acyclovir is an antibiotic “*_*

Anyhow, i gave micromedex and mims a check and found out dat for Herpes Zoster, T.Acyclovir should be 800mg 5x/day for 1/52 and went back to confront the Dr~

Me: Hi the acyclovir should be 5x/day and can u confirm with the dr again.
Dispenser: The antibiotic is 3x/day and Dr already wrote it here *show me the pmr*
Me: Yes but it should be 5x instead of 3x.
Dispenser: no it’s 3x and for 5 days *insist and prolly annoyed*
Another staff: He’s a pharmacist *drag the dispenser*
Dispenser: u sit first and we will check it.

After a while…

Me: Dr, the acyclovir should be 800mg 5x/day but my mum was only given 800mg tds which is the dosage recommended for moderate renal impairment.
Dr: Ya i knoe it’s 5x a day and i have already given 800mg so i give only tds.
Me: But mims, micromedex and p.i recommendation is 5x/day and the strength is 800mg and no less.
Dr: Previously i am thinking of qid but ur mum’s condition ain;t dat serious and tds is fine since most patient with tds seems fine and wat if there’s some adverse reaction. Are you going to be responsible?
Me: I will still go with the 5x and if any adr i will take the responsibility.
Dr: So if ur taking 5x, this (15tabs initially for 5 days of tds dosing) will last u only 3 days and u have to come back.
Me: Will top up another 20 tabs to make it up for a week instead of 5 days. So if after 5 days still not resolved, will ask my mum to visit u again.
Dr: Okay.

PS: It’s been more than 72 hrs since the onset of skin rash, and hope the antiviral would be working well

was back last Thurs…

She looked fine from the outside but she ain;t well yet.

As u all might have known, she was sodomized somewhere end of july and been away from me for 3 weeks to be exact.

Anyway back to the day when i collected her.

ME: Hey how come the steering wheel alignment is out~
Workshop fella: u bang the back and we fixed the back. steering is the front so it has got nothing to do with us~
ME: WTF, ain;t u guyz supposed to check dat the car is in perfect orderbefore handling it back to me?
Workshop fella: but we already changed the things dat need to be changed!
ME: but i send in for repair and u are supposed to make sure dat everything is working “*_*
Workshop fella: okay okay *grab a wheel alignment technician*

In the end, got it done foc but now i realized there’s another problem.

In the photo if u noticed, the left rear wheel alignment is out.

Yes, it still does and so gona complain bout their poor workmanship!!!

Screw the national car and the service they provided…

PS: God pls let me hit the jackpot so dat i can change to a Golf GTI~

Watched the movie last sat and it’s pretty good.

At least better than transformer 2 i would say~

Been a week plus without car and counting…

PS: No idea where my life is heading~

BAck to taking bus, lrt and taxi…sigh~

Life these days without car seems so tough eh.

And it feels as if my leg has been patah-ed~

Can;t go out late at nite and gona sweat to reach my destination.

Every morning take either bus or taxi to Ampang PArk and interchange Putra to reach my KK.

And returning home using Putra interchange at Masjid Jamek then to Star.

Wat used to be 20mins trip now took me abt 45-50mins~

Not to mention it’s more expensive compared to driving myself~

Sob, hope can get back my car real soon.

Btw, pt load been increasing like crazy these days…

Mostly cold cases and i think we should come up with Combo A ( Bena + Piriton + PCM), Combo  B ( Same as Combo A + Vit C + Penglobe or EES) and Combo C etc to ease our job to pack the med~

Prolly can have an express counter for cold cases to smooth thing up oso.

Got a few crazy pt today, but i am now too tired to tell the story, prolly tomoroe k?

PS: I am having sore throat and dry cough….now where is my fever and runny nose to qualify for flu?
